One of the ways I stay up to date on the IXD, UX Industry is reading job descriptions. The practice is surprisingly insightful and keeps me tapped into how companies are utilizing the our skills,  who’s employing us, how are our jobs being positioned within the larger company and what’s hot and new in terms of what people are looking for.

Collecting these also helps me continually improve how I talk about my work, sell myself on the freelance market and construct my resume and portfolio.
